Manager, Field Service
We are seeking an experienced Field Services Manager. The Field Services Manager will manage (and currently conducts) all fieldwork for EI Solutions installed solar energy systems. The Manager is responsible for the initiation, prioritization, and timely resolution of all outstanding field service issues, including project commissioning visits, scheduled maintenance, and unscheduled diagnostics and repairs. As the company grows, he or she will build a team of field service personnel, overseeing all aspects of their hiring, training, and scheduling.
The Manager of Field Service will assist in establishing and documenting all field service policies and procedures, along with implementing case tracking and performance monitoring applications. He or she will review all performance data on a daily basis, responding to outages promptly, and notifying customers of system issues and their resolution.

- Other duties as directed by Senior Director of Customer Service
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervise subcontractors, such as roofers and electricians, along with representatives from vendors
- Will hire, train, and schedule new field service personnel, site supervisors, and others as required
Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of high-voltage AC and DC electrical systems, solar electric systems and their components
- Knowledge of building and structural construction techniques
- Ability to efficiently troubleshoot system failures
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
- Strong prioritization skills
Education and/or Experience
- Practical experience with electrical wiring and basic construction practices required
- 5+ years experience working with energy systems or in the construction field
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a technical field preferred
- Journeyman Electrician's Certification highly desirable
- Ability to demonstrate a responsive, customer service approach to listening and responding to requests
- Additionally, experience in or the ability to learn contract review, performance data analysis, and job cost analysis is highly desirable
